For nine years Williams Group founder Michael Williams has been a dedicated volunteer as part of the Chambers of Commerce, first serving as the Vice-President for four years in Sylvan Lake and the past five years on the Lacombe and District Chamber of Commerce. We've proud to announce that he has been elected President of the Chamber for the 2023-2025 term.
Michael was instrumental in the resurgance of the Lacombe Chamber's Annual Business Awards in-person gala in 2022 where close to 300 attendees gathered to celebrate the best of the best in the Lacombe business community.
In addition to his work with the Chambers, Michael's extensive background in non-profit governance includes tenure as Board Chair with Sylvan Lake Community Partners association, Chair for the Town of Sylvan Lake Municipal Planning Commission and Vice-President for Sylvan Lake Minor Football Association.
